Warren Frey passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at the age of 81 at Our Lady of Lourdes in Lafayette. He was born on July 15, 1937. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018, at 10:00 AM at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Mowata. Burial will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery. At the request of the family visitation will begin on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 12:00 PM until 10:00 PM at St. Lawrence Church in Mowata and will reopen on Monday at 8:00 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 5:00PM. Warren is survived by three sons; Shawn Frey and wife Gaye, Winston Frey and wife Cindy, Billy Frey and wife Patsy, two daughters; Donna Frey Rust and husband Llew, Rhonda Frey Manuel and husband John, fifteen grand children and sixteen great grandchildren. Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Frey and Annie Zaunbrecher Frey, his wife, Verna Bankston Frey, one brother, Reginald Frey, three sisters; Lorraine Heinen, Louella Daigle, Linda Campbell. Warren was a 1956 graduate of St. Edmund's High School, a 1960 graduate of McNeese and a life-long resident of Mowata. He was a Farmer and Rancher since the early sixties. He enjoyed anything Rodeo and took great pride in following the progress of his grand children in high school, college and professional Rodeo.
