Virginia Fontenot Ledet passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023 at the age of 77. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 PM on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Phillip Pitre officiating. At the request of family, visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until time of Services on Thursday. Virginia is survived by her husband, Vernon J. Ledet, Sr.; one son, Vernon J. Ledet, Jr. (Demetria); one daughter, Brittany Ledet; two sisters, Martha Celestine, Margaret Alyer; two grandchildren, Lauren Simone Fantroy and Trevor Vincent Ledet. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Rose Bellard Fontenot; three brothers, Joseph M. Fontenot, John H. Fontenot, Hubert Fontenot; four sisters, Augustine Mitchell, Rose Mary Roberts, Evella Fruge, Virgie Victorian and one grandchild, Alecia Janee` Ledet.
