Virgie Soileau Prejean passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the age of 81. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Pastor Woody Gunnels will officiate. Burial will follow at St Ann's Cemetery in Mamou, La. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 from 1:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice and will resume at 8:00 AM on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 until time of Services. Virgie is survived by one son, Kenneth Prejean and wife Cynthia; two daughters, Tina Prejean, Faye Prejean Dies; one brother, Harris Soileau; seven grandchildren, Darby Fontenot, Damien Dies, Desiree Dies, Damien Cook, Danielle Miles, Christine Prejean, Ricky Prejean; seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshal Soileau and Mazie Pitre Soileau; her husband, Cecil Prejean; two brothers, Larry Soileau, Wayne Soileau; five sisters, Belle Fontenot, Hazie Bertrand, Barbara Gaspard, Jane LeJeune, Joyce Reed.
