Vernon Miller passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at the age of 84. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 22 2017, at 2:00 PM. at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Deacon Gary Gaudin will officiate. At the request of the family visitation will begin on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 8:00 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed at 1:30. Deacon Gary Gaudin will officiate. Vernon is survived by his son; Todd Miller of Baton Rouge, La., two step-sons; Larry Young and wife Brenda of Opelousas, La., Tim Young of Baton Rouge, La., one brother; Sterling Miller of Lafayette, La., two sisters; Patricia Young of Crowley, La., Bonnie Staricka of California, two grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Vernon was preceded in death by his parents, Mathias Miller and Ola Daigle Miller, his wife; Dorothy Reviere Miller, one brother; Gerald Miller, three sisters Myrtle Gary, Theresa Clements, Joycia Miller. Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice is in charge of the arrangements.
