Vernell Cormier passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at the age of 60. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Rickey Boone officiating. Burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM on Friday, July 7, 2023 and will resume at 8:00 AM on Saturday until time of Services. Vernell is survived by three daughters, Crystal Cormier (Keegan Wood), Ashley Fontenot (Scotty), Harlee Cormier; one brother, Jimmy Cormier; eight grandchildren, Emily, Ashton, Brynleigh, Lauren, Natalie, Kailyn, Sage, Mallory; one great-grandchild, Kamdyn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Early and Ruby Gautreaux Cormier; three brothers, Norman Cormier, Lincoln Cormier, Raymond Cormier.
