Verna Mae Matt Ardoin passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at the age of 62.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 25, 2016, at 9:00 a.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Deacon David Guillory will officiate. Entombment will follow at St. Paul's Mausoleum.

Verna is survived by her husband David J. Ardoin of Eunice; three daughters, Erica Miller and husband Mitchell of Eunice, Jenny Ardoin of Eunice and Penny A. Lejeune and husband Brandon of Eunice; one sister, Rosetta LeBlanc and husband Eddie of Basile; one brother, Darrell Matt and wife Priscilla of Eunice; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Verna was preceded in death by her parents, Duford Matt and Annie Vidrine Matt; one daughter, Monica Matt; and one brother, Nelson Matt.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. A Rosary will be prayed at 5:00 p.m. by Deacon David Guillory. The funeral home will reopen on Friday at 8:00 a.m. for visitation until the time of service.
