Verna Jane Guillory Ardoin passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at the age of 94. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dylan King officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held the same day from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Verna is survived by two sons, Tommy Hormell (Julia), Jacques Ardoin; one daughter, Judy Fields (Gerald); one sister, Juanette Harris (Ronnie); four grandchildren, Laura Anderson (Jason), Katy Drobney (Wes), Ashley Fuselier (Chris), Ryan Hormell (Jeannine); seven great-grandchildren, Drake Hormell, Amelia Hormell, Avery Fuselier, Scarlett Anderson, Annabelle Anderson, Grayson Drobney and Willow Drobney. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Darrow Ardoin; her parents, Emar and Lonia McCauley Guillory; three brothers, Dan Guillory, Sam Guillory, Jimmy Guillory; three sisters, Lou Fuselier, Faye Odom and Sheral Coleman.
