Vergie Cormier Boone passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2014, at the age of 81.

No Memorial Service is scheduled at this time.

Vergie is survived by four daughters, Judy Headley and husband Charles of Dallas, TX, Pat Granger and husband Hoyle of Houston, TX, Cindy Duplechin and husband Jeffery of Eunice, and Michelle Doucet and husband Billy of Eunice; one brother, Edward Cormier of Eunice; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.

Vergie was preceded in death by her parents, Narcus Cormier and Alice Thibodeaux Cormier; her husband, Leon Boone; one brother, Nathan Cormier; one son-in-law, Stephen G. McLane; and one grandchild, Joshua Fournerat.
