Velma Stone Salazar passed away on Monday September 9, 2013 at the age of 85. A Memorial Service is not scheduled at this time. Velma is survived by one daughter, Linda S. Ramos of Opelousas and one brother, Guy Stone of Leesville. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Vlahopolo Stone; her husband, Alfred Salazar; and two brothers, Jimmy Stone and Albert Stone, Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
