Velma Sattler Rougeau passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the age of 83. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 27, 2021 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with Father Sonny Brown officiant. Burial will follow in St. Thomas More Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice with a Rosary at 6:00 PM by Deacon Chuck Ortego. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM on Monday until time of Services. Velma is survived by her husband, Randel Rougeau; two sons, Charles Rougeau and wife Jeanne, Shannon Rougeau; one daughter, Vanessa Brown and husband Dominic; one brother, Charles Sattler; two sisters, Shirley McGee, Dorothy Brown; six grandchildren, Morgan Johnson, Mollie Sylvester, Abbie Gotreaux, Kimberlin Brown, Seth Rougeau, Luke Rougeau; one great-grandchild, Parker Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gurvey and Ella LeJeune Sattler; one brother, Roy Sattler; one sister, Carolyn Pousson.
