Uline Berzas Reed passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016, at the age of 84.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 14, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Msg. Robert Romero will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery in Eunice.

Uline is survived by four sons, Eric Paul Reed and wife Mary of Eunice, Alvin Reed and wife Julia of Basile, Daniel Reed of Eunice, and Donald Reed and wife Nicole of Jennings; one daughter, Janita "Gail" Thibodeaux and husband Jerry of Eunice; one daughter-in-law, Michelle Reed of Basile; fourteen grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Uline was preceded in death by her husband, Ouranel Reed; her parents, Thompson Berzas and Edith West Berzas; three sons, Derrell Reed, Terrell Reed, and Ronald Reed; and one sister, Mary Manuel.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. by Deacon Gary Gaudin. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Monday for visitation until the time of service.
