Trudy Guidry Young passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at the age of 80. A private Memorial Mass was held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father Keenan Brown officiating. Interment of ashes followed in St. Augustine Mausoleum. Trudy is survived by one son, Thomas Young; four daughters, Lisa Deshotel, Amy Larriviere, Keisa Dekerlegand, Marla Manuel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Young; her parents, Deo and Viola Fontenot Guidry.
