Trey Steven Deslatte passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021 at the age of 22. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice with Reverend Alvin Ogea officiating. Burial will follow in Guillory Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 3:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice and will resume on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 8:00 AM until time of Services. Trey is survived by his mother, Tina Caldwell Johnson; his father, Robert Deslatte; his girlfriend, Hanna Matte, one son, Karson Lane Deslatte; one daughter, Paisley Ray Matte; three sisters, Emerald Michelle Caldwell, Amber Deshae Cole, Hope Ashley Deslatte; his godchild, Noaleigh McCormick; his maternal grandmother, Kathy Thompson; nieces and nephews, Kylee, Zoey, Bentley, LeiLani, Adlee, Aydan, Brinlee, Lyra and Gage. He was preceded in death by one son, Brailen Wade Deslatte: his paternal grandmother, Virgin Mary Landry; grandfathers, James Caldwell and William Thompson.
