Timmy Clyde Deshotel, 60, passed away at his residence on Saturday, August 29, 2009. Visitation at Quirk and Son Funeral Home will begin on Wednesday Sept. 2 from 12 PM to 2 PM. A rosary will be prayed at 1:30 PM by Deacon Gary Gaudin. The memorial service will begin at 2 PM. Entombment will follow at St. Paul Mausoleum. Timmy is survived by 2 sons; Brian Deshotel of Opelousas and Dillon Deshotel of Pine Prairie; 4 daughters, Jada Deshotel of Ville Platte, Maya Deshotel of Pine Prairie, Casey Deshotel of Pine Prairie, and Christy Deshotel of Pine Prairie; 3 sisters, Diana Myers of Eunice, Alma Tate of Eunice, and Lorraine Johnson of Pine Prairie; 2 brothers, Roland Miller of Eunice, and Darrell Deshotel of Rayne. Timmy is preceded in death by his parents; Gladwin Deshotel and Nola Miller Veillon; brothers, Dillon Johnson, and George Deshotel; sister, Margie Nell Deshotel.
