Mr. Thornton, 82, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Edna Sittig Thornton of Eunice; 2 daughters, Clara Wisossky and Cynthia Demoss of Texas; 2 stepchildren, Steve Vasseur and Edna Grandin. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey D. Thornton and Mollie Morgan Thornton.
