Tanya Erica Aguillard

Tanya Erica Aguillard was born on December 30, 1971, in Modesto, California, and passed away on July 30, 2026, at the age of 54. She made her home in Eunice, Louisiana.

Tanya is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Aguillard of Eunice; her mother, Kathleen Reynolds of Modesto, California; her daughter, Contessa Hall of Shreveport, La; her son, Matthew Hall of Shreveport, La; her adoring grandchildren, Gunner and Elliott; her sister, Michelle Aksland of Modesto, California; her aunt, Connie Duke; her stepsons, Joshua Aguillard of Eunice and Jarrett Aguillard and his wife, Jennifer and their son, Hunter Aguillard of Eunice; her brother-in-law, Randy Aguillard of Grand Coteau; and her sister-in-law, Denise Fruge of Eunice.

She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Terry Aguillard.

Tanya was beautiful inside and out. She was caring, compassionate, generous, and loving, with a strength of character that was matched only by her gentle heart. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a kind spirit, and a remarkable ability to comfort and encourage those around her. Her warmth and genuine compassion left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

For many years, Tanya dedicated herself to working with young special education students, a role that reflected her patient and nurturing nature. She also lent her distinctive voice to numerous radio commercials through voice-over work, showcasing her exceptional speaking ability and clear diction.

Growing up, Tanya and her sister, Michelle, shared a close bond filled with laughter, adventures, and treasured childhood memories that remained with them throughout their lives.

Her daughter, Contessa, will forever cherish the countless moments they shared together—from brushing her hair and teaching her about makeup to spending afternoons touring open houses simply for the fun of it. Those everyday moments became some of life's most precious memories and will remain forever in her heart.

Tanya and Wayne shared a marriage built on unwavering love, mutual respect, and deep friendship. They found in one another a true soulmate and treasured every day they spent together, creating a life filled with laughter, happiness, and unconditional love.

A gifted and creative woman, Tanya had many talents. She loved singing, excelled at voice-over work, and had a passion for beauty and skincare. She enjoyed creating makeup, skincare, and hair tutorials and became a respected beauty influencer with thousands of followers across multiple social media platforms. Through her Facebook page, Tanya's World, she connected with people from across the United States and around the world, inspiring others with her knowledge, creativity, and genuine personality. She loved spending time in her makeup room creating content, reviewing products, and collaborating with numerous beauty companies.

Above all, Tanya will be remembered as a devoted daughter, beloved sister, cherished wife, loving mother, dedicated coworker, and loyal friend. Her kindness, generosity, and beautiful spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Wayne shared these heartfelt words in remembrance of his beloved wife:

"God blessed me with the most wonderful person I have ever met. I was blessed to spend seven years by her side, every day and every night. Our life together was filled with peace, love, and happiness. She was truly my soulmate, and I will love and miss her always."

Tanya's memory will be treasured forever, and she will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and the many lives she touched.
