Sylvia Rae Pedigo Richard was born on July 23, 1935 and passed away on September 24, 2012 at the age of 77. A Memorial will be held at Richie Pentecostal Church at 1 PM on Saturday October 6, 2012. Pastor Reed and Brother Richard Mesh will officiate. Sylvia is survived by one son, Bryan Richard of Baton Rouge, LA; one daughter, Tiffany Fontenot of Kinder; two brothers, Sammy Pedigo of Monroe, LA and Curtis Pedigo of Baton Rouge, LA; two sisters, Judy Ann Pedigo of Lafayette, LA and Mabel Petigo Miller of Carencro, LA; one granddaughter Shelly Fontenot. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Charlotte Francois Pedigo; her son, Gerald Dwight Richard; and her brother W.C. Pedigo. Sylvia was a kind and loving person. She loved to laugh and others around her shared her jovial spirit. Sylvia would sing in the Pentecostal Church. Her favorite song was "A Glad Reunion Day." Her love and laughter will be missed by her family and all who knew her. She has been welcomed home arms wide open. What a glad reunion day for Sylvia!
