Sybil Smith passed away on Saturday April 20, 2013 at the age of 74. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday April 23, 2013 at 10:30 AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Father Nathan Comeaux will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. Sybil is survived by one daughter, Missy Le Jeune and husband Linus of Eunice; one son, Tim Smith of Eunice; four brothers, Dale Doucet and wife Linda, Jimmie Doucet and wife Wanda, Morris Doucet and wife Lou, and Lubert Doucet and wife Diane, all of Eunice; two sisters, Irene Richard of Eunice, and Betty Castille and husband Curris of Baton Rouge; four grandchildren, Nicholas Vigee, Crystal Pierrotti, Jennifer Le Jeune, and Baily Smith; four great grandchildren, Kelsie Vigee, Nichols Vigee II, Brennan Vigee, and Blakelynn Pierrottie. At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Monday April 22, 2013 at 9 AM to 10 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. A Rosary will be prayed by Deacon Gary Gaudin at 6 PM that evening. The funeral home will reopen at 8 AM Tuesday morning for visitation until time of service. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
