A Funeral Service will be held for Steven John Chaumont, 41, on Monday April 1, 2012 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Basile with burial to follow at Reed Cemetery In Tee Mamou. Father Brian Taylor will officiate. A Rosary will be prayed Sunday evening at 7:00 PM. Steven passed away on Saturday March 30, 2012. He is survived by his wife Heather C. Chaumont of Basile: 1 son Darren Chaumont of Basile; 1 step son Traveon Cortez of Basile; 3 daughters Brittany Guidry of Basile, Harley Guidry of Basile, Mariha Chaumont of Basile; 1 step daughter Keona Cortez of Basile; 2 brothers Troy Chaumont & Michelle of Basile, Glen Marcantel & Linda of Basile. Steven is preceded in death by his parents John and Hadiee Reed Chaumont and sister Linda Faul. Visitation will begin Sunday April 1, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
