Shirley Reed Thompson passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at the age of 83. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice with Pastor Travis Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Mt Calvary Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 8:30 AM until time of Services. Shirley is survived by one son, Bernard Soileau; two sisters, Delores Broussard, Myrna Planchard; daughter in law, Vanessa Messina; four grandchildren, Kasey Duos and husband Saul, Travis Soileau and wife Monica, Jessee Soileau, Kelli Jo Soileau; six great grandchildren, Zayde Soileau, Tatum Soileau, Wylan Soileau, Daxin Soileau, Gannon Duos, Adelynn Duos. She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy Reed and Mae Montgomery Reed; one son, Lane Soileau; one sister, Christine Guillory.
