Shirley Thompson Ortego's Obituary
Shirley Thompson Ortego passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at the age of 79. A Private Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at St. Paul Mausoleum with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.
Shirley was an assistant librarian at the Eunice Public Library for thirty-two years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. She leaves behind to cherish her memories one son, Benny Ortego and wife Jenny; one daughter, Angelia Lalonde and husband Danny; one sister, Eloise Soileau; three grandchildren, Ben Ortego, David Lalonde, Cody Lalonde; two great grandchildren, Peyton Ortego and Ava Lalonde.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Illad Thompson and Luday Foret Thompson and one sister, Ruby Fontenot
