Sandra Fruge Bazinet, age 79, passed away on June 30, 2026. A Graveside Service will be held at St. Paul Cemetery for interment of her ashes at a later date.

Sandra leaves behind two daughters, Connie Landreneau and Paige, who cherish her memory and carry forward her lesson of perseverance. Her role as a grandmother was a source of immense pride and joy, and Sandra’s legacy continues through her grandchildren: Lance Landreneau (Ashley), Jacob Landreneau (Jieun), Victor Landreneau (Nicky), Ashlyn Vallot (Dusty), Kelli Arceneaux (Dwight), Kelly Breaux (Ryan), and Kimberly Smith (Ed) and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Sandra was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donnat R. Bazinet, whose partnership brought her deep fulfillment and happiness. She was also predeceased by her father, Maurice Lavergne, her mother, Ruby Bergeron Lavergne, and her beloved grandchild, Hannah Landreneau. The memory of these cherished individuals and Sandra’s enduring bond with them remain treasures for those who survive her.

Throughout her life, Sandra exhibited strength and resilience in the face of challenges, always placing the needs of her family above her own. Her enduring love extended not only to her immediate family but also to the broader community of friends and loved ones who were fortunate to share in her warmth and steadfast guidance.

Sandra Fruge Bazinet’s legacy endures through the values she imparted, the love she gave unconditionally, and the many lives she enriched along her journey. Her memory will be honored and cherished for generations to come.
