Russell James Miller passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2014, at the age of 55.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 6, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Deacon David Guillory will officiate. Burial will follow at Millerville Cemetery in Basile.

Russell is survived by four sisters, Mary Lopez of Eunice, Irene Henry of Iota, Edna Vicknair of New Orleans, and Yvonne Leger of Sulfur and five brothers, Wilbert Miller of Sulfur, Jessner Miller of Crowley, Gus Miller of Iota, Leo Paul Miller of Iota, and Willard Miller of Iota.

Russell was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Miller and Beatrice Benoit Miller; one sister, Mary Dietz; and one brother, Joseph Rod Miller.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 9 a.m. until of time of service at Quirk & Son Funeral Home.
