Russell Glenn Fontenot, Sr. passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at the age of 72. A Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice. Cremation will follow. Russell is survived by one son, Russell "Rusty" Fontenot, Jr. and wife Gwen; his mother, Betty Savant Fontenot; two brothers, Kerry Fontenot and wife Fran, Sonny Fontenot and wife Sandra; two sisters, Sussie Rozas and husband Blaine, Linda Wheeler; one grandchild, Steven Fontenot. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann Fontenot and his father, Lessie Lee Fontenot.
