Russell Wayne Brasseaux passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016, at the age of 61.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Chataignier with burial to follow at the church cemetery.

Russell is survived by two sons, Ramesy Brasseaux and wife Kristi of Eunice and Zack Brasseaux of Lafayette; three brothers, Daniel Brasseaux, John Brent Brasseaux, and Darrell Brasseaux all of Chataignier; and three grandchildren.

Russell was preceded in death by his parents, Moise Brasseaux and Lola Mae Ogea Brasseaux and one sister, Melissa Briley.
