Rosella Guillory Willis passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2013, at the age of 79.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013, at 10 AM at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile. Father David Hebert will officiate. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery.

Rosella is survived by two sons, John Willis, Jr. and wife Elizabeth of Basile, LA, and Steve Willis of Basile, LA; four daughters, Mary Mouton and husband Donald of Lake Charles, LA, Delores Johnson and husband Jim of Basile, LA, Judith Willis of Washington, DC, and Mary Ann Hall and husband Clarence of California; two brothers, LeRoy Guillory of Lake Charles, LA, and Robert Guillory of Sulphur; five sisters, Rita Ross of Lake Charles, LA, Lorena Thomas of Chicago, IL, Theresa Rideau of Lake Charles, LA, Charlene Glass of DeQuincy, and Charlotte Guillory of Sulphur; eight grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Lorena Sonnier Guillory; her husband, John Willis; four brothers, Julius Kelly, Joseph, Gene, and Johnny Guillory; two sisters, Rosa Mary and Linda Guillory.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013, from 4 PM to 10 PM. A Rosary will be prayed at 6 PM. The funeral home will reopen on Saturday at 8 AM for visitation until time of service. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
