Rose Courville Gaspard passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at the age of 84. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 14 2018, at 10:00 AM. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Burial will follow at St. Paul C Read Obituary
Miss Rose was a gentle loving soul who always went beyond her handicap to serve, minister to, and love others. She taught Religion for at least 25 years, was a Eucharistic minister to the shut-ins, helped out with Food for Seniors, helped reach out to so many people. Granny was another Grandmother to me and she excepted me as her own. I really love when she and I would deliver the food boxes to the shut-in and she would always ask if I had had milk for breakfast cause the bumpy road we were on was going to turn it to butter. I alway remember getting to ride in the way back of her white station wagon with the back window down. I truly loved her and will miss her dearly. Her love for the Lord is something that I will always envy and hope to achieve in my lifetime. Love you Granny.
I am so sorry for your lost. Rosie was like a mother to me for the many years I knew her. She will be sadly missed by myself and her family. Bernadette, and Joe, allowe to pray for you all along with all the grandchildren and great grandchildren. I know I haven't spoken to anyone in the family in a while but my love and prayers are with y'all now and forever. I was so blessed to have this sweet, wonderful woman in my life. She sang many days to our daughter Jenny, "Jesus Loves Jenny". Granny showed me a real family's love. She dropped everything to take care of me and my family after my surgery, I owed her so much more than I could ever repay. I love u Granny and I will miss u so much.
