Rose Rideau Edwards passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 at the age of 59. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Golden Star Baptist Church with Pastor Matthew Alfred, Jr. officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Paul Mausoleum. At the request of family, visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Golden Star Baptist Church. Rose is survived by her husband, Donald Edwards, Sr.; her father, Raymond Rideau; two sons, Donald Edwards, Jr. and wife Casey, Brandon Edwards and partner Markel Owens; two brothers, Raymond Rideau, Jr., Lawrence Rideau and wife Kimberly; four sisters, Bernadine Rideau, Cynthia Fontenot, Patricia Edwards, Sandra Rideau; three grandchildren, Nayla Edwards, Payton Edwards, Kason Edwards. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Vallaire Rideau and one sister, Ozelia Edwards.
