Ronald Menard passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018, at the age of 66. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at 10:00 AM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Burial will follow at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery. Deacon David Guillory will officiate. At the request of the family visitation will begin on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice and will reopen on Wednesday at 8:00 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed on Tuesday at 7:00 PM. Ronald is survived by his son, Richard Menard and wife Chay of Basile, La., two daughters; Shelly Sattler and husband Michael of Eunice, La., Faith Freeman and husband Ben of Sulphur, La., four brothers; Floyd Menard of Eunice, Harold Menard of Eunice, Anthony Menard of Eunice and James Richard of Eunice, two sisters; Mona Rae Chandler of De Quincy, Diana Matt of Eunice, La., seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Hughes Menard and Vergie Blanchard, two brothers, Gene Richard and Richard Menard, one sister, Liz Gargaious. Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice is in charge of the arrangements.
