Ronald James Bellard was born on December 21, 1959 and passed away on October 14, 2012 at the age of 52. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday October 16, 2012 at 2 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. Deacon Gary Gaudin will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A Rosary will be prayed by Deacon Gary Gaudin at 6 PM on Monday October 15, 2012. Ronald is survived by his mother, Betty Joyce Fontenot of Duson, LA; his son, Ryan Bellard of Eunice, LA; his daughters, Kyla Bellard of New Hampshire and Sky Westbrook of Lake Charles, LA; his brothers, Kenneth and Kelly Bellard of Duson, Phillip Dale and Monica Bellard, Paul "Beaux" and Dawn Bellard of Opelousas, and Michael Keith Bellard of Syracuse, NY; his sister, Cappy Bellard and Joe Ortwein of Navarre, FL; six grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Bellard; his companion, Carla Barras; and his nephew, Joshua Ortwein. The family will receive friends from 3 PM to 10 PM on Monday October 15, 2012 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. The Funeral Home will reopen at 8 AM on Tuesday for visitation until service time.
