Roland J Soileau, Sr. passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020 at the age of 79. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice with a Eulogy by Pastor Caleb Semien at 6:00 PM. A Mass Of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 10:00 AM at St Anthony Catholic Church with Father Matt Hebert officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Roland is survived by one son, Roland "Jim" Soileau, Jr. and wife Kayla; one daughter, Shelly Jenkins and husband Harry; three step daughters, Gerry Savoy, Wedna Smith, Sandra Whitaker; one step son, Troy LeJeune; two brothers, Jessie Soileau, Wilton Soileau; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon Soileau and Rita Duplechin Soileau; his wife, Joyce Lavergne Soileau; one brother, Ronald Soileau; his first wife, Hilda Mae Deaville Soileau.
