Roland Miller passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the age of 83. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Chataignier with Father Darren Eldridge celebrant. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice with a Rosary by Deacon Chuck Ortego at 6:00 PM. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM on Saturday until time of Services. Roland is survived by his wife, Nela Fruge Miller; four sons, Bryan Miller, Lucus Miller and wife Stella, Jody Miller and wife Keri, Jamie Miller and wife Roxanne; one sister, Elizabertha Forshag; eleven grandchildren, Bronson, Cameron, Austin, Danielle, Katy, Gabe, Morgan, Caitlin, Parker, Sammie, Scottie; twelve great-grandchildren, Evan, Gabbie, Braylee, Remi, Julia, Tyler, Wyatt, Rosie, Sawyer, Addyson, Kendall and Presley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aliday and Agnes Fontenot Miller and one brother, Vernon Miller.
