Roland "Rocky" Mayo Godeaux passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the age of 56. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Catholic Church in Chataignier. Abbot James Liprie will officiate. Burial will follow at Parker and Brown Cemetery in Swords. At the request of family, visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 10:00 PM on Monday, July 22, 2019 at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice. A Rosary will be prayed by Deacon Chuck Ortego at 6:00 PM on Monday, July 22, 2019. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM Tuesday, July 23, 2019 until time of Services. Roland is survived by his mother, Rose Corkin Godeaux; two daughters, Abigail Godeaux, Melanie Godeaux; three brothers, Edward Andrepont, Dewey Godeaux and wife Kathy, Ray Allen Godeaux and wife Kay; five sisters, Anna Darbonne and husband Harry, Katherine Joubert and husband Harold, Delores Briley and husband Rod, Kathleen Fontenot and husband Joseph, Stella Godeaux; former wife, Lisa Godeaux. He was preceded in death by his father, Antoine Godeaux; three brothers, Gilbert Godeaux, Farrell Godeaux, Terrel Godeaux; two sisters, Diana Texada, Elizabeth Dato. Pallbearers will be Joseph Fontenot II, Fabian Godeaux, Anthony Godeaux, Shane Darbonne, Jody Jagneaux, Tyler Godeaux and Anthony Kamareddine. Honorary Pallbearers are Miles DiMonde, Harold Joubert, Greg Joubert and Michael Joubert.
