A funeral mass for Rogers James Vidrine, Sr., age 69 will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2009, at 10 AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Fr. Gil Dutel will officate. Rogers passed away on Monday August 31. He is survived by his wife, Aimee Miller Vidrine of Eunice; two sons, James & Angela Vidrine of Eunice and Carl & Joanie Vidrine of Baton Rouge; three daughters, Roxy Peres & Ernest of Eunice, Angie Vidrine of Eunice and Mandy Manuel & Bruce of Eunice; four sisters, Barbara Oliver of Eunice, Wilda Smith of Oberlin, Medina Hensley of Kinder and Nelda Fontenot of Kinder; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Taunice And Agnes Arnaud Vidrine; brothers, Rodney and Harold Vidrine. Visitation will begin on Tuesday at 3 PM to 10 PM at Quirk & Son. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 on Tuesday evening.
