Rogers Carrier departed from this earthly life on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at St Clare Manor Nursing Home of Baton Rouge at the age of 70. A Private Graveside Service will be held at St Mathilda Cemetery on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 with Father Blaine Clement officiating. Rogers was baptized at an early age at Mt Carmel Catholic Church in Chataignier, La. He was a member of St Mathilda Catholic Church when he resided in Eunice, La. He was a 1969 graduate of Charles Drew High School in Eunice, La. He leaves behind to cherish his precious memories three sisters, Delores Carrier-Mack, Linda Carrier, Rose Landry; four brothers, Albert Carrier, Dennis Carrier, Ronald Carriere, Waldon Carriere; caregivers, Camiel Carrier-Wilkins (Elliott) and Della Banks, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Rose Mary Tate Carrier; three brothers, Donald Carrier, Larry Carrier, Paul Carrier; one infant sister at birth; one niece, Romona Carrier Lemelle; one nephew, Timson Carrier.
