Robert was my 2nd cousin. I never got to know him very well. I did hear him play and sing a time or two. I knew his father, Shelton, very well. I just want to send out condolences out to his sisters, whom I knew a little in our younger days. Prayers for peace go out to Robert's family.

My cousin was one of the best accordion player I have ever heard. When we where kids they lived in Branch Louisiana we lived in Church Point almost ever Saturday or Sunday maybe even Friday when ever our parents decided we would go visit. We had best time making our on Slingshot running out in the fields, the old country dirt roads, Robert has a old bike one rider one walker to Beluga Bar down the road usually where our dads where we would get candy and a soda if we where lucky. If was a writer I could write a book about the good old days as kids. Robert played for all our family benefits to help raised money it did not matter what it was for I cant say enough about my cousin he was the best. I love you and will miss you RIP This sadden my heart
