I had the privilege of working with Rob for the past 11 years in the ER at OGH. He was such a caring and wonderful human being. Rob never talked about himself and all the challenges he was facing in his own life but wanted to know how "are you" doing. He was a selfless person. He was devoted to his family and to his patients. He was a good man, in all the sense of devotion to his children, always working to ensure that his kids were taken care of until the day he died. He worried about his kids, as all us fathers do. He was devoted to his work as a nurse, coming to work while being treated with chemotherapy! He was always looking forward to retiring into the sunset, as we all do. No rest for the weary is what we say, when carrying the responsibilities of raising children, caring for patients, and all the burdens that come with carrying The Cross . God had other plans, but I know, Rob is at rest in Peace with Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was my friend and he will be missed.
