A funeral service for Robbly Fontenot, Jr., age 52, will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at 1 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow at Bieber Cemetery in Mamou. Robbly died on Friday March 5, 2010, at Savoy Medical Center. He is survived by a special friend, Melissa Holford of Reddell ; daughter, Buffy Fontenot of Pine Prairie; son, Josh Morgan and wife Makessian of Ville Platte; stepchildren, Jamie Savoy of Chataignier, Darrel Shepherd of Chataignier and John "T Mac" Stanford of Mamou; step mother, Barbara Fontenot of Mamou; 9 grandchildren; his dog "Pepper". He was preceded in death by his father, Robbly Fontenot, Sr. ; his mother, Helen McGee Fontenot; brother, Craig Fontenot; sister, Debra Darbonne. Visitation will be on Monday from 10 AM to 10 PM with a rosary prayed at 6 PM. The funeral home will reopen at 8 AM on Tuesday until service time at 1.
