A funeral service for Robbly J. Fontenot, Sr. will be held on Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, at the funeral home at 11 AM with burial to follow at Bieber Cemetery in Mamou. Robbly was born on October 29, 1934 and died on November 28, 2009. He was 74 years old. He was a veteran of US Army having served in the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife, Barbara McCauley Fontenot of Mamou; daughter, Debbie Darbonne & her husband Larry of Eunice; son, Robbly Fontenot, Jr. of Mamou; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dozirlin and Evelia Fontenot Fontenot; a son, Craig Fontenot; two brothers, Calvin & Louis Fontenot; a sister, Joyce Fontenot. Pall Bearers will be Dustin fontenot, Thomas Vail, Chad Vail, James LaFleur, Judy Heatherly & Larry Darbonne.
