Rita Miller Nelson passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the age of 73. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 2:00 PM at St Anthony Catholic Church with Father Hampton Davis officiating. Burial will follow in St Paul cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM at Quirk Funeral Home in Eunice with a Rosary being prayed by Deacon Gary Gaudin at 6:00 PM and will resume on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 8:00 AM until time of Services. Rita is survived by her husband, Warren Nelson; three daughters, Tammy Thibodeaux and husband Shannon, Darla Lazzare, Dana Darbonne; two step daughters, Dione Nelson, Heather Guillory; twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cary and Rita Gaspard Miller; five brothers, Horace Miller, Warren Miller, Cary Miller, Lionel Miller, Darrell Miller; one sister Jaunita LeJeune.
