Rita Soileau Benoit passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the age of 67. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until 10:00 PM on Friday, September 24, 2021 with a Rosary at 6:00 PM by Deacon Gary Gaudin. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM on Saturday until time of Services. Rita is survived by her companion, Daniel Arnold; one son, Joseph "Joey" Benoit, III; two daughters, Hope Roy and husband Robert, Casey Lynn Benoit and companion Aaron Guillory; three brothers, Kelly Prejean, Darrel Prejean, T. Joe Soileau; one sister, Linda Pitre; four grandchildren, Robert Roy, Jr., Wesley C. Roy, Louis C. Roy, Isabelle Rose Guillory; four great-grandchildren, Dawson J. Roy, Leah M. Roy, Jolie Reese Roy and Desten A. Roy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Annie Carrier Soileau and one daughter, Samantha Marie Benoit.
