Rhonda Israel passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at the age of 44. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. Pastor Joey Fuselier will officiate. Rhonda is survived by one son, Tyler Israel of Eunice; five sisters, Glenda Israel Bergeron and husband Michael Douglas of Eunice, Elsie I. Deshotel and husband Edward of Mamou, Priscilla I. Serie and husband Roy of Broussard, Jenny I. Fuselier and husband Joey of Prairieville; three brothers, Douglas Israel of Mamou, Joseph Brad Israel and wife Sybil of Eunice, James "Bozo" Israel of Mamou; and numerous nieces and nephews. Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents, Lawood Israel and Winnie Mae Soileau Israel. At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
