Rayford L Biessenberger passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the age of 85. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Father Hampton Davis will officiate. Burial will follow at St Thomas More Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 9:00 AM until time of Services, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. A rosary will be prayed at 9:30 AM by Deacon Gary Gaudin at St. Anthony's. Rayford is survived by five sons, Scott Biessenberger and wife Nadine, Doug Biessenberger and wife Lora , Craig Biessenberger and wife Livia , Erich Biessenberger and wife Annie, Mitchell Biessenberger and his wife Pamela; sixteen grandchildren and twenty- five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Biessenberger and Lelia Pierroitte Biessenberger; his wife, Lucy Audrey Latour Biessenberger; one brother, Leland Biessenberger; one sister, Joyce Gouckenour. The family requests, in lieu of flowers , donations may be made to St. Edmund Catholic School.
