Ray Burkman Fontenot passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the age of 86. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice. At the request of family, visitation will begin on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 8:00 AM until time of Service. Deacon Gary Gaudin will officiate. Ray is survived by two sons; Carl Fontenot and wife Sandra "Dede" Fontenot, Gerald Fontenot, three brothers; Tony Fontenot, Raford Fontenot, Dale Fontenot, one sister; Jane Thibodeaux, three grand children; Shawn Fontenot, Carissa F Thibodeaux, Jordan Fontenot. Ray was preceded in death by his parents; Eugee Fontenot and Eva Amond Fontenot, his wife; Emilia Aguillard Fontenot, one brother; Bee Fontenot, two sisters; Hazel F Higginbotham, Helena F Hebert.
