Ray O Duplechin passed away on Monday, October 5, 2020 at the age of 78. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 12:00 noon with a Rosary directly preceding the Service at 11:30 AM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home of Eunice. Father Jason Vidrine will officiate. Burial will be in St Bridget Cemetery at a later date. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home of Eunice. A Sharing of Memories will be held 7:00 PM that evening. Visitation will resume on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 8:00 am until 11:30 AM. Ray is survived by two sons, Phil Duplechin and wife Karen Miller, Jason Duplechin and wife Ashley; one daughter, Lisa Bourg and fiancé Gregory Miller; two step-sons, Joey Badeaux, Barry Badeaux; one sister, Lima Fuselier; nine grandchildren, Jacob, Katalin, Ian, Jeremiah and wife Danielle, Samuel and wife Erika, Abigail, Ana Claire, Austin, Evangeline; three step grandchildren, Renee, Kyle, J.J.; six great-grandchildren, Madeille, Shayson, Carter, Jamison, Rawlin and Anderson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Rivers Duplechin; his parents, Thomas and Bernice Lavergne Duplechin; two brothers, Lee Warren Duplechin and Allen Duplechin.
