Preston Keith Manuel

Preston Keith Manuel, affectionately known to many as Keith, passed away on August 10, 2026, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy rooted in devotion to hard work, and joyful pursuits. He was born on March 19, 1959, in Eunice, Louisiana.

Throughout his life, Keith exemplified dedication and reliability in his career as a diesel mechanic in the trucking industry.  Away from work, he deeply loved boating, often seeking solace and adventure alike on the water. His home was brightened by a fondness for exotic birds, a testament to his appreciation for the beauty and uniqueness of the natural world. A true lover of music and connection, Keith brought joy to many as a DJ, sharing his spirited love for entertainment and camaraderie with all who gathered to listen.

Keith is survived by his two sons, Jacque Manuel and Johnathon Manuel; his brothers, Scotty Manuel (Tammy) and Roddy Manuel; his cherished grandchildren, Braiden, Trent, Jean, and Arianna Manuel.

Keith’s memory is also honored by remembering those family members who preceded him in death: his son, Christopher Manuel; his father, Jessy “JC” Manuel; his mother, Rebelle Mayeaux Manuel; and his brother, Coby Manuel. 

Friends and family are invited to gather and pay their respects at a graveside service on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Pastor Todd Riddick officiating.

Preston Keith Manuel’s legacy endures in the hearts and lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
