A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Paul Benoit, 82, will be held on Monday, September 13, 2010, at 1 PM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with entombment at St. Paul Mausoleum. Fr. Cedric Sonnier will officiate. Fr. Cedric will pray the rosary at 7 PM Sunday evening. Paul passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Faulk Benoit of Eunice; one son, Jeffery Paul Benoit and his wife Val of Pine Prairie; three daughters, Marcia B. Ortego of Eunice, Paula B. Godeaux of Eunice and Lori B. Aymond of Eunice; a brother, Yves Benoit of Eunice; a sister, Genevive Watson of Eunice; 17 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death by a son , Steven Benoit; his parents, John and Armenia Fall Benoit; brothers, Charlie and Emory Benoit; sisters, Louise Bodine, Virginai Duplechain, Isabelle Daigle and Dorothy Rozas.
