IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patrick Neil
Landreneau
April 7, 1949 – June 9, 2024
Patrick Neil Landreneau passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at the age of 75. A Memorial Service will be held at Victory Christian Worship Center, 100 N. Second Street, Eunice, LA on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at 10 a. m. There will be fellowship after service with coffee and donuts served. Patrick leaves behind his devoted and beloved wife of 53.5 years, Katherine Manuel Landreneau; his daughter, Joni Landreneau (Cecil Gremillion); his son, Kevin Patrick Landreneau; granddaughter, Victoria Anne Landreneau (Will); grandsons, Patrick and Peter LeBouef; his honorary son, Michael LeBoeuf (Lauren). He also leaves behind his brother, Doug Landreneau (Brenda); nephew Justin Landreneau (BJ) and their 3 daughters; niece, Julie Guillory (Jeremy); sister-in-law, Genny Fontenot (Mark); nephew Joshua (Kim) and their daughter, Tamberly; niece Bobbie Jo Fontenot. He was preceded in death by his mother, Annabelle Landreneau Heller; his father, Lionel Douglas Landreneau; his sister-in-law, Erma Jean Manuel; his in-laws, Lester and Rena Manuel. Patrick was a graduate of Immaculata Seminary in Lafayette, class of 1967. He also attended MHS until his sophomore year. He was a graduate of LSUA in nursing and Harris Hospital School of Anesthesia in 1979. He worked as a CRNA for 43 years. Patrick devoted his life to the Lord Jesus in 1979 and continued his devotion to God until his going home to be with his Savior. He was a gentle, kind and loving servant. The Body of Christ was blessed by his service. When he wasn't studying the Word of God or administering anesthesia, he was working on his farmstead – gardening, tending to cattle and an assortment of animals over the 46 years of farm life. He also enjoyed his time spent playing ping pong with a group of men twice a week; it was the highlight of the week the last 4-5 years of his life. Patrick had no desire to be famous or rich. He just wanted to live a quiet, peaceable life (I Thessalonians 4:11) glorifying God and passing that legacy of faith to his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
