Patricia "Pat" Duplechin Richard passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at the age of 90. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Father Hampton Davis Celebrant. Entombment will follow in St. Paul Mausoleum. At the request of family, visitation will be held at St. Anthony's Wednesday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, at which time the Acts Team will lead a Rosary, followed by Services. Patricia is survived by three sons, Kenneth Richard (Lisa), Scotty Richard (Jana), Thad Richard (Tricia); two daughters, Jan Ward (Mark Triplett), Nanette Arnaud (Wilford); fifteen grandchildren, Dr. Gregory Richard (Jolie), Michael Ward (Laura), Dr. Jeremy Ward, Callie LaFleur (Matt), Katherine Ward, Wesley Richard (Courtnei), Dr. Quinn Arnaud (Dr. Ashley), Taylor Gonzales (Ali), Dr. Hunter Arnaud (Dr. Karen), Danielle Richard, Nick Richard (Lacey), Katie LeBlanc (Patrick), Launey "Biscuit" Arnaud, Thaddeus Richard, Kelli Vidrine (Nick); nineteen great-grandchildren, Hayden, Parker, Scarlet, Ryder, Rhett, Ally, Grayson, Bray, Teddy, Marie, Walt, Davis, Dallas, Dylan, Hazel Rae, Lyla, Dax, Evelyn and Elliot. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Richard; her parents, Launey and Agnes Manuel Duplechin; two brothers, Ronald Duplechin, Gene Duplechin and son-in-law, Tony Ward. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to St. Jude's or St. Edmund's.
