Oliver Joseph Myers passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at the age of 90.

A Memorial will be held at First Baptist Church in Basile on Thursday, March 19, 2015, at 10 a.m. Pastor Dwayne Smith will officiate. Entombment will be at St. Augustine Mausoleum in Basile.

Oliver is survived by two sons, Patrick Myers of Jennings, LA and Philip Myers of Houston, TX; two daughter-in-laws, Theresa Richard Myers and Gayle Fruge Myers; three stepsons, Ronald Aguillard, John Aguillard, and Dana Aguillard; one stepdaughter, Suzanne Andrus; three grandchildren, Leslie Myers Whitney, Karen Myers, and Tyler Myers; and three great-grandchildren.

Oliver was preceded in death by his parents, Eraste and Celise Marcantel Myers; his first wife, Mildred S. Myers; his second wife, Nellie Aguillard Myers; one son, Paul Myers; and one sister, Louise Prejean.
